Island Beach Access

Ne Cultus Bay

Changed to OPW3. Sandy Point Private Community. No clear upland access. NOTE: Cultus Bay is great for kayaking at the right tide. Bay is an exposed mudflat at low tide. However, hard to ID any good access Pt. between Sandy Pt. and Scatchet Head. Boat access only. In Washington, public shorelines accessible only by boat range from being very remote and undeveloped to official State Parks with camping and other facities. These are often popular shellfishing areas, but in many cases ONLY the beach is public and the uplands are private property with NO PUBLIC ACCESS. Please respect private property.
